Bachelor of Visual Arts, Mariana Nuñez (aka Marianamente) was formed at the prestigious National School of Fine Arts Pridiliano Pueyrredon and gets her degree at the College of Fine Arts, Ernesto Cárcova.
She was a student at the workshop of Ramon Castejon, where he learned to carve stone. She also attends the workshop of Alberto del Monte, in the painting discipline.
In 1999, she directs her own art gallery called Los Argonautas, located in Pilar, 40 miles from Buenos Aires, where the young emerging artists had the chance to exhibit their works. The space was large enough to fit various artistic events as theater performances and literary workshops.
Since 2003, she is devoted entirely to her work. She lives in Buenos Aires and has a gallery that represents her in the United States, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her works are in private collections in Uruguay, Sao Paulo and New York.
She exhibited in various galleries and cultural centers and won major awards.
